I grew up in River Falls, Wisconsin . After graduating from high school, I attended the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota . I graduated from St. Thomas in 1992 with a degree in Business Administration. I graduated from the University of South Dakota with a law degree in 1995. After law school, I clerked for a federal judge in Sioux Falls, South Dakota for one year.
Before joining the law firm of Herrick & Hart, S.C., I practiced for six years in Durand, Wisconsin . Since beginning my legal practice, I have focused it on helping injured people obtain just compensation for injuries caused by others not being careful and assisting people accused of a crime through the criminal justice process.
I currrently serve as President of the Eau Claire Bar Association.
